Our Companion Policy
Dear Companions, In order to ensure that our patients complete their treatment processes in the most comfortable and safe manner, there are specific guidelines companions must follow. Thank you for your cooperation.
Companion Authorization & Eligibility
What are the conditions for having a companion in our hospital?
Whether the patient requires a companion is decided by the treating physician.
In accordance with physician approval, only one (1) companion is allowed per patient.
Companion swaps must be executed with the prior knowledge and coordination of the clinical nurses.
In VIP suites, a second companion may exceptionally be allowed with explicit physician approval.
Companion ID Badge Procedure
Use of companion identification badges within the hospital.
Companions must collect their companion ID card from the reception during admission.
It is mandatory to wear the ID badge visibly at all times within the hospital for security.
During discharge procedures, the companion ID card must be returned to the department staff.
During security checks, companions must assist security staff with identity verification.
Provided Services & Standards
Room and dining amenities provided for our companions.
Intensive Care & Special Units
Companion policies in restricted intensive care areas.
As a rule, companions are not permitted in general Intensive Care Units (adult, coronary, neonatal).
Short-term companion authorization may be granted under special circumstances deemed necessary by the ICU physician.
In pediatric wards, it is mandatory for at least one parent to accompany child patients for psychological support.
In obstetric and gynecology wards, it is highly preferred that the companion is female.
