You can review the legal information regarding how your personal data is processed and its transfer abroad when you use our hospital's WhatsApp support line below.
1. WhatsApp Support Line Data Processes+
As NCR International Hospital, we use the WhatsApp Business application as a support channel to facilitate communication with our patients and speed up info inquiry processes.
Your profile name, phone number, message content, and any medical documents you share (laboratory reports, radiological reports, etc.) via our WhatsApp line are collected and processed legally based on the ground of "explicit consent of the data subject". This data is used solely to answer your requests and coordinate your appointment processes.
2. Data Transfer Abroad (Critical Notice)+
[!] IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE:
WhatsApp is a global instant messaging service owned by the US-based Meta Platforms Inc. Its technical infrastructure and data servers are located outside the borders of the Republic of Turkey (USA, EU, etc.).
Pursuant to Article 9 of the KVKK Law, when you send messages to our hospital via WhatsApp and share your medical information, you are considered to have given your explicit consent to the transfer of your personal health data abroad.
If you do not consent to transfer of data abroad, please do not use the WhatsApp channel in your communication with our hospital. You can call our hospital hotline 444 99 30, use the e-appointment portal on our official website, or visit our hospital in person to perform your procedures safely.
3. Your Rights and Termination of Communication+
You can terminate your WhatsApp correspondence history with our hospital at any time and stop communication using the "clear chat" and "block contact" options provided by the WhatsApp application.
You can always apply to our hospital under Article 11 of the KVKK Law to exercise your legal rights (deletion, correction, information request) regarding your data transferred and processed in our hospital systems. Our hospital provides the same quality of service through all official channels other than WhatsApp.
